With a background as a former J CHEN PROJECT dancer, KL brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this workshop, which combines the power of movement and self-expression to promote physical and emotional wellness. Participants will engage in a supportive and non-judgmental environment where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through dance and movement. KerryLyn Kercher

KerryLyn Kercher (she/her), LPCC, MA, R-DMT, is originally from Allentown, PA, USA, where she began studying dance at Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA. She has extensive experience in both professional dance performance and teaching; performing for multiple dance companies, including Lehrer Dance (Buffalo, NY), Motion X Dance (DC), J CHEN PROJECT (NYC), Christopher K. Morgan & Artists (DC), and S.J. Ewing & Dancers (DC). KerryLyn graduated from Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions with a Masters of Arts in dance/movement therapy and counseling.

Upon graduation she received a Fulbright Scholarship and spent a year abroad pursuing creative arts therapies research. KerryLyn is now working at Children's Hospital Colorado as a dance/movement therapist working with both medical and psychiatric populations. Her hopes are to assist in helping others find healing, strength, and inspiration through their connection to self and others through the art of movement and dance.
